Whew, We made it to Monday!

Well, I never thought I would want a Monday to get here so quick! But what a weekend, a really long weekend!!!

It started with Homecoming on Thursday night at Trinity, Where we had Bonfire,

that Chad got to light & Braden got to help (with support)

Then after Friday's "pepper rally" that Braden calls it, we had to rush over to
the 1st annual Chili Cookoff where we had a team, called the Rolling Rolaids! We won for the most spirit at our table! We even got a trophy! The ironic part is that we were so into making the chili just perfect, that we overlooked decorating our table,.....until we saw everybody else's highly decorated spirited tables & had nothing! We immediately rushed home and thought of what we had the most of in our house.....HUNTING stuff! We loaded the car with hunting boots, camoflouge jacket, hunting bag, ram horns that had brush in them!! GO! GO! GO! and then we rushed back in time for competition! That is what happens when you put Chad in charge of everything! He made a Damn good Chili, but not a lot of Spirit! That is where we compliment each other!! Gotta love it!

Baryn showed her school spirit at the Chili cook off!

Mom & Dad were on Support Team & Baby duty!

Later, we were able to shut down shop and head over to the game! Braden went to go sit in the stands, and when I went to check on him 5 minutes later.... This is where I found him! He is no fool! He picked the hottest teachers at Trinity to sit by! Here is Amanda Martin, Wynne Elder, & Abby Bishop! He never had them, but he is wishing he had!

Then we got to catch up with Tarabeth who was home from College! It seems like yesterday that she was this small! Just amazing that she is pushing 22!

Saturday we took Family pictures with Sally Crunk (see previous blog) and then on Sunday, we went to Fiddlesticks Farms with is a new place to Midland, where they have a buch of neat things for the kiddos! The kids took a Cow ride!
And, then we went through a corn maze. They had a 5 minute, a 1 hour, and a 2 hour maze! We took the 5 minute maze......it was enough for us!
Then we waited for the hay ride to take us to the pumpkin patch, which was totally picked over and a bunch of ugly warty pumpkins!
So we at least got another photo op!
So, all in all, we had a great, but VERY busy weekend. I hope this will get all of yall till next weekend, when I hope I have time to update!! Happy Fall Y'all!

Beautiful Photos!

Take a look at our photos with our new photographer, Sally! She is so sweet & REEL good and you know how picky I am with Photos! These photos on her blog portion of her website (click on the word "blog" to get to it) are just a quick, small taste of what is to come when I get the proofs, but these are so cute, so take a look!

Blog Stalking

When do you guys think that "Blog Stalking" will be entered into the Dictionary? They have admitted tons of cuss words, so why not?

Yesterday I got a random call at the store. She admitted that she found out about me through my blog, and I was so honored!!! I love the fact that I am entertaining other people that dont have to read my blog just because they are my friends!

I hope that all of you guys that are reading my blog, and don't know me in person, are not too afraid of calling me out of the blue to ask me questions! I am not a bad person, I just like to bitch a lot about certain issues, and I love to brag about my kiddos, so don't think I am vain, and sometimes I hope I envoke tears, so that I am not crying alone! I am a circus though, so therefore, very entertaining!

Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy! And let me know that you are blog stalking, so I can get excited and want to write more!! I am glad that I am not alone in the Blog Stalking world! Thanks to my Blog Stalker who called yesterday, for making my day! Your timing was impeccable!

Time to Catch Up! (since my family is still out of town!)

So since Braden's Birthday Party, we have been soooo busy! Since I haven't really been updating as well as you would of liked, I am filling you in on why I haven't!!
It started out with Braden's Birthday Weekend (weekend after his party) We started the weekend with a Birthday Donut!

We made time for the big "Pepper Rally" as Bee Dub calls it!
Go Wilson!!

The next day was the big game! You can literally see the storm rolling in, which halted our attendance at the game!! (But the kids looked cute)

Baryn started school!

We had a Field Trip to the Library, downtown!

We went to the St. Ann's family fair with mom & dad while Chad was on his Frat Daddy Trip!

We ended the month by going to the St. Lawrence Fall Festival, about 45 minutes outside of town! That is where a lot of Chad's family lives, or has land where Chad hunts!
Here are the Fightin' Texas Aggie Wranglers putting on a show in St. Lawrence!! They came all that way! They were awesome, as usual!!!
so that is our End of August & all of September in a nut shell. Chad was gone for like 14 days out of the month, so we were all so busy, not to mention, I lost an employee, and so I am back to full time work!! Hopefully help is on the way in November! Ugghhhh!

Happy Birthday to an Old friend!

Well, it is that time that I write about someone other than my kiddos or my husband! I want to take this time to tell you a little about my dear friend Jennifer who turns 32 on Thursday!

Many years ago, I was in Drill Team with Kirby & a couple other girls who had gone to school together since elementary. I was odd man out, but only in that respect of history! We were all close & hung out together and had a blast! One addition to our group was a girl named Jennifer Garner. She was best friends with Kirby since grade school and so, we grew together as friends, but not close friends..... more like "hey friends". She always had a boyfriend, (the same boyfriend...which is a great concept that I never picked up on!) So she spent most of her time with him, and not us single folk who liked to do single folk things!

Kirby & Jennifer lived together at A&M, while I lived on the opposite side of campus. I would call Kirby to try to catch up, and she was NEVER there, but Jennifer was, so we grew closer! The spring semster came, and Jennifer was dating a new guy (after like 4 years with Nathan) and I would see her out and about Aggieland. We really bonded when seeing each other at a corp date dance that neither of us should of been at with the guys that we were with! (we both were dating guys other than our dates!) We were both busted! We giggled and said that we wouldn't talk about seeing each other!!!! I think that was "our moment"!!! Our moment of knowing a secret of the others!! We bonded!

The next year, Jennifer would be hanging out with another Midlander, Suzanne, and I would see them out and about town! We hung out most of that summer in Midland! What a blast! We went back in the fall to College Station & hung out with a freshman Midland guy that got busted for MIP his first week at A&M! Ughh! Jennifer & I had to go bail his ass out! Again though, our bonding moment!

We hung out and worked together at a bridal store most of that year even though she had a new boyfriend (and I didn't), and then we worked out a deal where Suzanne & Jennifer would come live with me for a month while they were in between apartments late in the summer. In the mean time, I met Chad back in Midland, and upped and moved some home! I still had 6 weeks on my lease, of which 4 weeks were to be with Jennifer & Suzanne, so I finished those out before moving ALL of my stuff back to Midland! This was a blast! We had no school this 2nd summer session and so we had some great road trips to Houston Astroworld! This was a blast! Another bonding moment!

Jennifer was the friend who understood that Chad was the "ONE"! We had so much in common! We both wanted to be wedding planners and really just wanted to plan our own weddings!!! We would talk about this incessantly! She just understood! We kept in touch over the year and she came back to Midland over the holidays! Four months after I left College Station, while Jennifer was home for Christmas Break, Chad proposed and Jennifer & I went full force in PLAN MODE! Mom, Jennifer and I went to a bridal fair and tried on Bridesmaids dresses!! She would definitely stand by my side! Again, another bonding moment!

Jennifer started dating a new guy off & on that she met at Aggie Happy Hour while interning in Dallas(I am pretty sure)!? We would talk about him and try to figure out about the differences between the old beau & the prospect beau! I was of course an old hand at being married at this point! Later, time would come to meet Jessie.......not bad! They, too would start to plan a wedding and I was ALL about telling Jennifer about planning a wedding!!

5 weeks before their wedding, we were to be leaving for her bachellorette party and I got "the" call, that her dad had passed, and we needed to cancel and refocus. I was miserable at 8 weeks pregnant, but rushed home and demanded that her other friends do the same. (I have no shame) We had to pull together! Jennifer was an amazing pillar of strength! We all loved her dad, Jerry, as we all thought that he was "cool"! He lived in the same neighborhood as Chads & my 1st house, and always kept Jennifer up to date with the gossip in the neighborhood!! She was so strong, because of how her dad raised her, and that is why I loved her. She did this alone since her parents had been divorced for quite some time, and she was an only child. I dont want this to be a bonding moment, but it was, because it was life altering!

We all attended their beautiful wedding, me as a fat, non prego looking, puking, pregnant Bridesmaid! She, again, was going with the flow, but we were all so tense, due to the loss of Jerry. She set a beautiful tone for the whole weekend and it turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL wedding(even if I bacame Bitchy wedding coordinator with the actual PAID wedding coordinator)....again, no shame! Jennifer appreciated this after the fact, and again... a bonding moment!

Later that year, after having Bee Dub, she found out that she was pregnant! This is the same girl who got a puppy as a wedding gift, and had to give it away, because it was TOO much to handle!!! hehehe! I will never forget when Jessie was holding Braden at Kirby's wedding and he spit up a little, and Jennifer about puked herself! I died laughing! Jessie was the one getting spit up on, and Jennifer was SQUIRMING!! Not so much a bonding moment! Just really funny!

Next was our biggest bonding moment in my book and continues daily. Jennifer was there for me when I needed her the most. She was the only one with empathy, the only one that understood how I felt like I was the ONLY one. She was there for me when I lost little Braxton Foster. She loaded Ashley up(her daughter), got my girlfriend Tor, and came to Midland to be here for the funeral. This meant so much to me, and always will. We continue to share stories and similarites in grief. This helps!

When we moved to Midland after losing Braxton, we were looking into buying RSVP and I turned to her for advice. She would of loved to have gone into it with me, but it just wasnt feasable with her in Plano. We both loved this thing, so I always try to invite her to market as I love her advice. This also acts as a great girls weekend! Numerous bonding moments!

Two kids later, she is better than ever! She is one of the most unselfish girls I know. She is an amazing wife to a talented husband who, late in life (30), decided to goto Medical School. She put herself 2nd....and not just for 1 time, but for 8 YEARS!! OMG! I love my Chad, but I am not that awesome of a wife! I am NOT that great of a person to sacrifice sooo much!

We have had some great years! Some ups, some downs, but ALWAYS together!

I hope you have a great 32nd birthday Jennifer! I will always cherish our friendship! Thanks for the memories!!

Why Me?

Umm, yeah, so last night I was bathing Pretty after the Homecoming parade, and I let her sit in there a while so I could look at my Pottery Barn catalog, and I look down, and ahhhhhhhhhhh!

POOP!

It took a while to gather, drain, clean, refill, then rebathe!

Come on, why couldn't Chad of had this experience? Noooo, he was too busy cooking dinner! Why do I feel like my luck, is GONE?

Just wanted to give y'all a blog this week! Don't expect one until I get my act together or sell the store! (who knows when EITHER of those will happen!)
